Dr. Steve Finn did it again! He made a print and play version of a very cool game: The Little Flower Shop Duel, made just for two players. And I've made a run through video teaching you how to play and what it looks like to score a game of The Little Flower Shop Duel.
This game encourages players to collect flowers, complete vases, and nab the neatest knickknacks on the shelves of the little flower shop before their opponent gets them first.
Players alternate turns, selecting an item from one shelf until all the items are gone. After 8 rounds, the game is over and players tally their score.
It's a fast, fun and replayable print and play game that will have you hemming and hawing over what decision to make.
This game will be Kickstarter funded in August 2022! Watch it here: youtu.be/f1UNhh2-Xqc
I attended GenCon 2022 after a three-year hiatus. I had a great time, attended some fun events, played nonstop in the Board Game Geek room from 6 to midnight each night, nabbed some cool games to bring home with me, and (of course) had some hits & misses of the con.
Check out what I was up to at GenCon this year! Watch it here: youtu.be/BCHsPLyn4Nw

Dice Theme Park is a heavier dice worker placement game for those ready to puzzle out their best attractions in their very own designed theme park.
There's also scads of other cool mechanisms with action selection, open drafting, and hand management in this game.
I'll walk through each phase of the game to showcase the unique and fun elements that caught my eye in this really colorful and engaging strategy game for 1-4 players.

Eternal Palace is a new, Kickstarter-backed dice worker placement and painting game with beautiful components and cool mechanics.
Players group their rolled dice and then openly place them on the main board to gather resources, monuments, painting swatches, and advisors that help them in their quest for glory.
With a player count ranging from 1-5 and all the expansions I got in the Kickstarter Deluxe Edition, I think I'll be playing this game for a while to come:)

Ready for a nautical adventure game of placing exploration cubes and connecting trading posts? You'll get all of that and more in this pattern movement, hidden victory points game by AEG.
The Guild of Merchant Explorers uses flip and place as the simultaneous action for all players, but everyone will quickly diverge from their opponents' strategies when they earn unique Investigation Cards that allow them to navigate into new places on their map.
With four maps and several objective cards for each map, this game is super replayable and enjoyable for all ages. I love the time it takes to play (under an hour) and the ease with which to teach it.

Welcome to the Moon can be played as stand alone flip and write fun, but it also comes packed with secret boxes, 8 unique and colorful maps, and tons of story!
As a campaign, I've played half of the missions (that's 4 maps) and am loving it!

The Kims are at it again! This time, they debate AEG's Cat Lady and Dog Lover, two games with 100% cute factor and 100% fun.
Both share set collection and open drafting as their main mechanics, but you'll have to check out the debate between the Kims to find out more details about these two card games.
