Mining Colony is a great 30-minute strategy game with two great mechanics: secret bidding and tile placement. Not only that, it now has special projects for players to complete for even more victory points. It's a secret mission and I'm all in.

Oh. My. Gosh. I played my first Advent Calendar from Exit: The Game and can't wait to share details (no spoilers) about the puzzles and challenges within.

I am loving Lacrimosa, a medium-weight strategy game for 1-4 players. It reminds me so much of Obsession and I use that comparison throughout to highlight what I like about Lacrimosa. 

Players are patrons, set on spreading Mozart's music across Europe. However, they need to cleverly strengthen their deck, which will allow them to take more advantageous turns in this race to win the hearts of music lovers everywhere!
