I just attended Board Game Geek Convention this past weekend (November 17-21) and it was amazing!
In this review, I recap my favorite games from the convention, describe the 3 hot games that I played, and cover what I love best about heading to Dallas, Texas, for Board Game Geek Convention.
There's a lot here, so snuggle in with a warm cup of something nice and don't forget to play along, write some comments, and have a good time! Watch it here: youtu.be/6UA0pbjPuro
I played 5 really great two-player games last week and can't wait to share all the details with you here.
I've organized my list by least likely to return to all the way to my most likely to return to, a.k.a. play again sooner.
These are games built just for two players, and for me, that's the perfect number for me to play a game with Louis!
Join me to find out which of these games will perfectly suit you and your Louis.

I am right in the middle of this 14 mission game and couldn't wait to tell you all about what makes it a worthwhile investment.
The Initiative is a cooperative game that pits players against the clock: they must discover the necessary clues to solve the code for each mission.
The game grows and adds enemies and obstacles each mission while maintaining a very reliable and consistent experience.
Did I mention that the game's storytelling element is a comic where the characters go on an adventure?!
Grab three of your friends today and play The Initiative! Watch this video to find out why you should give this game a chance and know what to look forward to (without any spoilers).

I just got my copy of The Crew: Mission Deep Sea and can't wait to dig into the new missions and gameplay that this card game offers.
It's helpful to know what's the same and what's different before we all jump into our first game. I'll highlight the similarities and the differences of the new game along with some sneak peeks of the task cards and other components.
The Crew: The Quest for Planet Nine won the Expert/Strategy Game of the year 2020 and it's super exciting to see a follow up standalone game that captures the essence of the cooperative, trick-taking game while offering a new element that promises a lot of fun and strategy.

There are a lot more than three things that I like about Pan Am, a strategy stock game, but I only have time to tell you my TOP 3.
There's a cool bidding mechanic for actions and a progressive turn order for all five of the locations on the board.
And the game always changes with the varied and dynamic Event Cards that begin each round.
Join me now for a closer look at Pan Am!

It scales from 2-5 super easy and has minimal components so there's not a lot of stuff to drag out and take up space on your table!
And with a press your luck mechanism, this card game will have you pushing it right to the edge.
There's also an auction mechanism that will have you giving the stink eye to the opponents across the table from you.
Join me now to learn about how this game works and why you should give it a try today!
